I've spent the past several hours sort of watching Sci Fi Friday, while making a pattern that will hopefully work out for the shoe part of the boots I'm making for my Chiana Quixote costume. At the moment, it doesn't look anything even vaguely like a shoe, but somehow, miraculously, when I wrap it around my shoe frame, it looks remarkably like footwear. Not necessarily beautiful footwear, but it's starting to take shape. I'm very excited. *bg*
