I will work on 'Troll Slayer' again, I promise. Eventually. Once I've got over this costuming bug that seems to have infected me. I blame eve11. It's all her fault. Oh sure, says I, there's no way in hell I can find the boots I need. No problemo, I'll just make them myself. Nevermind that I will be able to think of nothing else until they're done. D'oh! It's not like I have an obsessive personality or anything. *shakes head in despair and promises to get back to writing soon*

I've spent the past several hours sort of watching Sci Fi Friday, while making a pattern that will hopefully work out for the shoe part of the boots I'm making for my Chiana Quixote costume. At the moment, it doesn't look anything even vaguely like a shoe, but somehow, miraculously, when I wrap it around my shoe frame, it looks remarkably like footwear. Not necessarily beautiful footwear, but it's starting to take shape. I'm very excited. *bg*
