Well, haven't I just become the most boring person ever!

I didn't go to the gym this morning so I had lots of extra time to be productive and get housework or craft work done. Theoretically, anyway.

I did manage to iron the vinyl for my boots. And wasn't that a fun little experiment in how not to destroy my roommate's lovely iron with my hot, melted vinyl. To be fair, I managed to not melt any of the vinyl, but I also managed to not remove the worst of the wrinkles. However, it is better than it was and it is now rolled up around a cardboard tube, rather than folded in a bag. So it shouldn't get any new wrinkles, at any rate, before I'm ready to start cutting. Which will be as soon as I get up my nerve. I have a pattern that I think will work and plenty of vinyl in case I screw up, but I am still hesitating to get right down to it.

I still have lots of challenge stories to read and I'm looking forward to that. I didn't get much reading done over the weekend, what with the Buffy marathon and all. And 'Troll Slayer' is sitting in front of me, begging to be written, so I'll be getting on that as soon as I can find a spare hour or two. One of these days the boots will be done and I will be able to think of other things again.

I am going to make it out for comics night, tonight. I've bailed the last two weeks but that's all behind me now. Besides, eve11 has promised to kidnap me if I start sounding like I'm not going to make it. *bg* I want to get caught up on 'Fables' and figure out which issue of 'Astonishing X-Men' I need.

Thanks! I did have a great time! I've realized I'm just always going to feel like crap on Wednesdays and I need to just ignore that and go out anyway.

There's a good philosophy! Glad you had fun. Now that you're into X-men, we'll have to watch the X-Men movies together over the summer - I lurves 'em and D-- won't even try 'em.
