Apr. 23rd, 2011 05:10 pmI've been telling myself I should go for a run in the park ever since the weather first started to turn a month or two ago. I finally took my own advice today. I took the short path through the park and made it two-thirds of the way up the long hill before my lungs gave out. I thought my legs felt fine until I slowed to a walk and realized just how rubbery they were. It took a very long time to get my breath back so I ended up walking the whole way home. Boo. But it's been seven months and I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. Now I just need to start building back up again.
