This is the sort of weather that completely does me in. It may be a cliche to say it's not the heat, it's the humidity, but it's the truth anyway. And since I spend several hours outside during the course of the day, whether I want to or not, it wears me out.

I had to stop at CVS on the way home to pick up a variety of things (several of which I forgot) and I treated myself to an ice cream drumstick as a reward for the long day and motivation for the walk home. It was yummy!

And now I'm going to go take some advil and drink a gallon of water to see if I can prevent my head from splitting in two.

Good luck getting rid of the headache! I had one of those dehydration/sinus headaches while we were in Montana, and it was the worst thing about the trip!

The headache did eventually go away with the combo of advil, water, and quiet.

I talked my mom and the boys into coming with me to get ice cream for dessert tonight. It's the proper way to celebrate summer!

It subsided enough to make it through the evening and was gone in the morning. That's all I ask.

Sorry the humidity did you in. I was out for a bit this afternoon and was completely whipped when I got back. I still feel tired but I think that is separate issue.
Keep hydrated and try to avoid those headaches.

I can't stand humidity either. I must be one of the few thankful for our cold wet weather.Hope you soon feel better.
