I watched Hot Fuzz tonight. Now I'm trying to decide if the teenagers in the bar were meant to look like Hogwarts students on a day trip to Hogsmeade.

I almost always enjoy Simon Pegg's stuff and Nick Frost is fast moving up the ladder for me. The only project they've done together that I didn't absolutely like was Spaced, which I didn't hate even if I didn't love it.

This fell right in line with what I expected and was the perfect sort of movie for a tired girl on a Thursday night after a long week. It was a little heavy on the blood spurting, but I liked it.

It's actually a comedy, sort of along the lines of Naked Gun, mixed with lots of Shaun of the Dead. And lots of blood spurting!

Comedy with spurting blood does sound engaging. I may have to check it out! Of course, the local Blockbuster has just closed, which limits my outlets for finding movies to check out.
