There always seems to be something standing between me and the gym, but I made it this morning. 3 miles in 34:25 if my lap times can be trusted. I did the first mile in 10:15 and then slowed down a bit. I went fast enough, though, that I was able to walk a lap and a half and still come in under 35 minutes, though, so not too shabby.

Unfortunately, my body isn't used to getting up early for running anymore and I'm totally pooped today. Bah! Get over it body, be useful!

Congrats on getting your sleepy and complaining body to the gym! I took mine there today but couldn't make it stay and work for very long. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

My body oblingingly made it through a not-too-terribly slow 5 miles. But it wasn't in any great rush to keep going when it was done. Or perhaps it was my sluggish brain that said "OK, that's enough." In any case, the two of them got me back to the office where we are now trying to clear out and organize the piles of paper stacked everywhere. None of us are really enjoying the process!

There is a whole lot of stuff between me and the gym too, but I'm adamant to go back when it opens next week. I have to start the running course all over again, but I'm going to go. I just wish it would open early enough for me to manage to go before dayshift. I'd have to get up at 5 but I would do it. Unfortunately, even if there are gyms that open at 6 a couple of times a week, I still wouldn't make it till 730 at work. It's too bad.

Good luck getting back into the running routine again. It's so easy to fall out of the habit, and so hard to get back into it again.

I really need to go back to the gym. I was doing so well for about three months and then I just got lazy.

It's so easy to be lazy about the gym. That's where a running buddy comes in handy for me. If I know she's going to be waiting for me (or coming to pick me up, as the case may be) then it makes it much harder to not go.
