Of the good:

1. It's Friday and work is done for the week.
2. Hockey (pre)season is here! There's already been some fun exhibition games and the Pens are currently 2-0. Yay hockey!
3. I came across this awesome Dragon*Con video this evening. Makes me want next year to be here already. Only 342 days to go.

4. It's the weekend!

That parting image might be my favorite part.

Plus, I kind of want to do a Where's Waldo costume one day next week. Yes, it's been done, but I don't think it will ever get old.

Cool video! I really am going to have to do a Dragon*Con one of these years.

I can't wait to listen to John Walton doing the radio call on a Caps game, but I'm holding off for the real season.

I am denying myself nothing when it comes to hockey. We had a long summer and there's never a guarantee that won't happen again, so I'm taking every moment I can get, with gratitude.

Wednesday's and Thursday's games were great because Mike Lange did the calls with Phil Bourque, but I'll be just as happy listening to Steve Mears for the rest of the games. I figure I'd better get used to his calls, because when Lange retires (hopefully not for a few years yet) it will probably be Mears taking the job full-time.

I love that! There were so many of those that I didn't see. Also, that's the most I've managed to see of the parade. hehehe Loved the Ghost Busters car. Thanks for sharing this.

I know, I didn't see a lot of those costumes either. Some very, very cool costumes. And it's funny, because being part of the parade every year, I never really get to see it. So I'm always happy to see clips of it.

I won't be able to watch the video until I get back to my office (after today's football game & grove craziness) but I'm very glad that you have something you are looking forward to!

Now if I can just find a good job, get settled in a new apartment and still have enough money left over to take a vacation from my new job when I probably won't have any vacation time earned yet. *crosses fingers*
