Well, I got my day off to a rousing start. I was going to write a check and discovered that I'd lost my checkbook. I was at a restaurant last night and had it with me then and I could have sworn I put it back in my bag, but apparently not so much.

Long story short, after my first momentary panic, I called the restaurant, they have it, I should be able to pick it up this afternoon. I'm not going to feel comfortable until I've actually picked it up, though.

On the plus side, my new monitor arrived last night. And so, my old monitor hasn't given me any trouble in two or three days, lol. Maybe it's been scared straight, or maybe I just haven't been using the computer much this week. Whatever the case may be, the new one is getting installed tonight. *bg*

Thank goodness for that. I hate loosing important things, it gives you a sick feeling to your stomach doesn't it.

I was greatly relieved when I was able to slip away from work and go pick up the checkbook. Not the sort of thing you want floating around where just anybody can get their hands on it.

*heaves a sigh of relief and returns checkbook to safety of desk drawer*
