I've been feeling unremittingly exhausted and yucky since about Tuesday. It all started to make sense around 2:30 last night, when I spent some quality time with my toilet. Ugh. My tummy still hurts but after sleeping almost all day, I finally found the energy to sit up (well, prop my head up anyway) and grab my laptop. Yay, for at least a few minutes I don't have to just lie here staring at the walls and watching Shadow circumvent every barricade placed between her and the kitty litter.

I remember that several years ago Neighbor A built a wooden box for the kitty litter. It had a latching lid on top for human access and an opening on the side that was too small for a dog but just right for a cat. LOL
Hope you feel well soon.

I'd think someone could make a fair amount of money making dog-proof kitty litter boxes. I wonder why we don't see more of them.

I think that in most cases, if it was dog-proof, it would almost have to be kitty-proof as well, which would kind of defeat the purpose. Lots of cats won't use an enclosed box, so the lid mechanism isn't universally effective, and many dogs are not so much bigger than a cat that they couldn't get in the opening themselves.

Not that it wouldn't be wonderful if such a thing were to be devised.

I liked the solution we had when I was living with LP in New Hampshire. We rigged up the door of the room with the litter box so that it could be latched open just a few inches. More than enough for Tookie and Thor to get in and out but not enough for Shadow and Sunny to make it through.

I'm glad you felt well enough to get to your laptop. Take care of yourself!

I managed to stay propped up with my laptop for a good hour before finding it too exhausting, lol. Luckily, I'm feeling much better today. :)

I hope that you are feeling much better and more lively soon! You did look pretty drained at the airport yesterday. I'm sorry that it wasn't just the too early morning.

I'm feeling much better (although not terribly lively) today. Work was a bit of a challenge, but I made it through!

Yucky! Hope it's a 24-hour thing and that you're into hour 23...

It did, indeed, seem to be a 24 hour thing. Thank goodness!

I hope so too! The past month or two has been too much sick and not enough fun. Time to reverse that trend!
