Apr. 5th, 2012 10:23 amSomething seems to be wrong with the furnace. Or perhaps the interface between the furnace and the thermostat. Although the days have been mild (hovering between fifties and sixties) the nights have still been dipping down below freezing. And the heat is not kicking on at night. By the time morning rolls around, it is pretty unpleasant. I've talked with the landlady and she's not sure what's wrong. Her son-in-law is going to look at it and see if he can figure it out before she calls a service person out, but it's supposed to be several degrees below freezing again tonight. I really hope it's figured out soon because I'm tired of being cold, not to mention my throat is starting to hurt. This reminds of 2010, when we had no heat for a week in November and I ended up with Strep Throat because I spent all my energy trying to stay warm and none was left over for fighting off disease. Did I mention we've had about five cases of strep run through our room at work in the past few weeks? *sigh*
