Some people's phones are useful in a 'connect with the rest of the world' sort of way. This weekend my phone has decided to be useful in a 'prevent the rest of the world from connecting with me' sort of way. Yesterday it hoarded all incoming texts, finally releasing them to me mid-morning today. Today it allowed at least a few texts in, but calls are being diverted straight to voicemail. So if I seem to be ignoring anyone, it's not me, it's my phone.

Other than that, today has been pretty good. The marathon path intersected with my neighborhood a couple blocks from here, so I went out and cheered runners/walkers for about 45 minutes. I timed it well, because I spotted the one person I know who was running the whole thing, no more than five minutes after I got out to the road.

I also got laundry done, and watched the L.A. Kings finish off the St. Louis Blues. It was good. Tonight the Flyers take on the Devils in game four. The Devils have the series lead 2-1 and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Now, I think I might finish off the Chunky Monkey ice cream in the freezer. It will almost certainly make me sick, but it will taste soooooo good. And then there won't be any more ice cream in the house to distract me.

I know the runners appreciated that!

Getting laundry done is *so* satisfying.

It is always satisfying to turn that ugly dirty clothes monster into sweet-smelling clean clothes, tucked neatly away.

Your phone has a definite personality. I wonder if someone gets paid to program them to be cranky?

Good for you with the laundry and cheering on the marathon runners. I think you definitely deserve the Chunky Monkey (without getting sick would help, too).

It's entirely possible. I don't understand why they would want to do such a thing on purpose, but it does seem hard to believe they could have designed such a user unfriendly phone by accident.

Good timing on the marathon! Sorry to hear about the phone though :(

Hm, soon I will have no excuses left for not going to the gym. But mmm, ice cream. Now I want chocolate.

I seem to never run out of excuses to not go to the gym. Too early in the morning! Too late in the evening! Bleh, I guess I'll just be fat.

My phone does the same thing sometimes. For no rhyme or reason. Just like, "Will it give me my voice mail today?" Maybe.

I think your Chunky Monkey plan is sound. :)

Operation Chunky Monkey went off without a hitch. It was, in fact, quite delicious!

Hmm, Chunky Monkey is yummy but my current fav is Chubby Hubby. Glad you enjoyed it.
I make no pretense of understanding how any of our electronic gadgets work or don't as the case may be. See post Undiagnosed!
