We're getting into that time of year where I'm usually throwing myself headlong into a costuming frenzy in order to get ready for Dragon Con. It really isn't feasible to go this year, but that doesn't stop me from feeling very sad that I don't have that to look forward to at the end of the summer.

I am going to give Chicago TARDIS a try in November, but I don't really have a new costume to work on for that. Maybe I should give that some thought.

And, I do have that cross-stitch project to work on. If I could ever get the design sorted out, I could start stitching it, and that would give me something to feel crafty and fannish about. Must get on that.

We decided to bypass DC this year, with plans to do something extra special for next year to make up for it.
