I sit here barely able to keep my eyes open at an unacceptably early hour of the evening, coming up with more and more ridiculous and morbid explanations for my exhaustion. And then I remember that I'm moving into middle age, I got up before dawn to go to the gym for my two mile run on the track, walked the mile to work, spent an entire work day interacting with two and three year olds, at least half or two-thirds of that time on my feet, before walking the 2.7 miles home. Perhaps being sleepy isn't entirely unreasonable at this point.

It's what I'm going with, at any rate. I even dreamed about being exhausted last night. One of these days I'm going to get that magical 'exercise gives you more energy' benefit. Until then, I'll just be over here, failing to be conscious.

Sleep is such a fickle mistress. I managed six whole uninterrupted hours last night, so I guess sleep loves me today.
