I'm beginning to really like Dan Bylsma, the Pens' new coach. At the beginning of the playoffs, I new that he had turned the team around to get them, not only into the playoffs but high enough up that they had home ice during the first round. But he was stiff in the press conferences, seemed overly cautious in answering questions. Which, hey, fair enough. He was coaching the Baby Pens in Wilkes-Barre, not a job that called for too much time in front of national cameras.
He's loosened up lately, though. I like the message he's preaching, I like the attitude he brings to the conferences. He's beginning to show a sense of humor, as well, that I like. And yeah, he's more than a little cute when he smiles. So whatever happens tonight, Dan Bylsma gets my stamp of approval.
