rabidsamfan requested a Hetty fic in which Geoff didn't show up on time one night.

Missing

“Where is he? He should have been back an hour ago.”

“Relax, Robert. He’ll be home soon.”

“Home! And who’s daft idea was it to have him live with us? He’s old enough to take care of himself.”

“Hullo! I’m starving, is there any dinner left?”

“Where have you been, Geoffrey? You should have been home over an hour ago. Hetty’s been worried sick. ”

‘The scooter got a flat. I had to push it the last three miles and I’m done in, I can tell you.”

“Get him a plate, Hetty. You do need some looking after, don’t you, lad?”

And I now have a wee!Geoff icon, thanks to grey_wonderer.

I so love the way Geoff fits right in and more or less takes over while Hetty tries to act indifferent to it all, though we know how much she care. Richard is a favorite in the episodes that I've seen to this point. Glad the icon works for you. Keep posting these so that you can use it, and, more importantly, so that we can all enjoy a bit of Hetty fic.

Oh, another Geoffrey bunny? How about ... hmmmm ... how about Lonely!Geoffrey meeting up with EquallyLonely!Jamie while doing some snooping for Hetty and striking up a friendship with the shy young man? As cheeky as our Geoff is, he'd be just the one to perk Jamie up and maybe bring him out of his shell. Now, bear in mind that I've never seen a single ep of Taggart but from the bits I've read that Nickey has done and from screen caps I've seen, I think these two would be adorable together.
