auntiemeeshI have very little interest in housework, and almost all of the energies I'd be willing to devote to such tasks generally get spent at work. Doing laundry several times a week, cleaning the bathroom at least once a day, sometimes much more than that (in theory this is a job for the maintenance staff, but if we leave it to them, the room smells of pee all the time), scrubbing down tables, washing toys, gah! It's never-ending and by the time I get home I have no desire to do anything more.
Today, however, I decided to tackle the bathroom. It is now just about as sparklingly clean as it is possible to make a bathroom. I even took the shower curtain and liner down in order to scrub at the stains left by the maintenance guys when they fixed some water damage several months ago. The place will be covered in cat hair and teeny tiny paw prints by tomorrow, but for today it looks like a job well done.
