Kitty diet time

Once upon a time, Mal was an adorable little ball of fluff. Now he is a big fat obese kitty.



Yep, time to go on a diet. I've bought some cans of stinky wet food, I have door behind which I can isolate him, it's time to get the diet on!

Thanks. Currently, Zoe's the one struggling. She was so distracted by what Mal might be eating in the bedroom that she didn't eat her own food, and Kai moved in on it. So now she's in the bedroom, having a midnight snack in hopes that she doesn't get me up at five with her demands to be fed RIGHT NOW!

I know that the hardest part for me will be staying patient. It wouldn't be healthy for Mal to curtail his diet enough to see quick results, but I struggle to keep up with things when I'm not seeing the results right away.

Hope it goes well but you are right that you don't want him to lose to fast as they can get "fatty liver" or some such thing with rapid weight lose.

Best icon use. :) Ahhh, yes, the case of the blimp kitty. Our have actually dropped weight since we starting putting out the K/D (Kidney diet) food, and they seem to love it.

At some point I need to look at a variety of wet foods and find the one that is best for my Mal, but until then, what's available at the store I can conveniently reach is 9 Lives. Not sure if that's much better than the dry stuff but time will tell, I guess.
