I had a lovely, successful yard sale this morning. I sold all four bookshelves and both dressers (the nice people are coming back on Thursday to pick the dressers up), probably two-thirds of my big box-o'-puzzles and lots of books. You'd never know I sold lots of books, seeing as I still have an enormous quantity of them sitting in the living room. But I really did sell a lot.
It was very nice, warm and sunny this morning and everything seemed to be going swimmingly and then around 12:30 or 1 big grey clouds rolled in and it started to pour. We had to hurriedly move everything back inside. Now it's all cleared up and sunny again, but I'm not taking everything back out. Everything that's left will just have to be donated to the Veteran's or something.
All in all, though, I'm very satisfied. :)
ETA: A latecomer showed up an hour or so after I took everything in and offered to buy all my books (at least 200-300) for five dollars. It wasn't much, but it was more than I would have gotten from donating them to the Veteran's Association, so I took him up on the offer. One less thing to worry about. :)
