Happy birthday, b_briarwood! I hope you've had a lovely day, that your family has treated you spectacularly, and that you are all revved up for another year.

In other news, I've got a blind date lined up. He's a forest ranger and we're going hiking on Sunday. I like hiking, so it should be fun. Of course, the paranoid part of me insists that I'm crazy going off into the woods alone with a man I've never met, but my sister knows him and thinks he's a decent guy, so I'm trying to ignore the paranoid part of me. Still, if you don't hear from me by Sunday evening, send out the search parties, lol.

Well, I was planning to play the part of Yogi and just steal someone else's pick-a-nick basket, but you're right, it would probably be better to just pack my own.
