Jul. 9th, 2008 08:13 pmJust got home from my coffee date with Lawyer Man. It went unexpectedly well. I had a great time, and was completely unlike my usual 'on a date' tongue-tied self. Possibly a little too much unlike my usual self, in that I think I might have babbled just a bit too much, but oh well, can't take that back now.
I'm feeling pretty good today too, I walked home afterwards and my leg is only just the slightest bit achy. Yay, it might finally be on the mend. Of course, it might also be that I'm on a total caffeine high - I forgot to specify decaf when I ordered my first coffee, and yeah, by the end of the 'date' I was a little wound up. But hey, I was, at the very least, not dull and boring. And neither was he. So, yay for coffee dates!
On a totally different topic, some guy was supposed to come look at my leaking bathroom window frame this evening around seven. I had to leave the back door unlocked so he could get in. I have no idea if anyone was actually here or not. The cats seem undisturbed (but then, as deaf as Tookie is, unless she actually saw the person, she might not have realized anyone was here, and Mal is skittish but recovers quickly), and everything seemed the same as I left it this morning. I'll have to ask my landlady.
So the task now is to try to relax and unwind and get to bed at some point before three in the morning (bad caffeine, bad!) so that I can get through the rest of the week.
