Well, I've been talking to a lot of people who are preparing themselves or their children to return to school in the next few weeks. This has put me in mind of all those childhood trips to K Mart and other such places, buying school supplies. Which brings me to this week's challenge.

hobbit_ficathon challenge for this weekend is to write something involving your idea of the hobbit educational system, whether you want to write about a school, private tutors, apprenticeships, etc.
As always, you don't need to be a member to post a story, and all entries are due by the end of the weekend.
