Sorry for the random calorie count earlier. I keep a mealblog on my private setting, and somehow completely forgot to set it to private, d'oh!

[livejournal.com profile] westwindschild and her husband drove down yesterday with (hopefully) the last of the stuff I had stored at her place. My place is a little more crowded now, and once D*C is over I'm going to have to spend a few weekends sorting through, organizing, and discarding all the stuff I've got stacked around still in boxes from when I moved to NH in '05.

I had a nice visit with WWC today. We all went to breakfast, then BIL headed to the Rivers Casino so we could have the day together. She helped me into the gown so I could see what height heel I need, and how much I need to take up the underskirt (an inch or so should be good). Then we took a little walk through Frick Park. WWC had a bit of a hypoglycemic crash after that so we spent the rest of the afternoon just lazing about the apartment.

After WWC and her husband left a couple hours ago, I decided to give one of my new workout dvds a chance. I went with Denise Austin because I used to have one of her aerobics tapes and I really liked it. I tried the Cardio Blast dvd today. It consists of a warm up, four ten-minute cardio workouts, and a cool down. I made it half way through the third workout. I think I'll do better once I've got the moves down. It takes more energy to be constantly bouncing around trying to catch up, but at least some of the moves are very familiar from the aerobics workout I used to do, so it probably won't take too long to get them down. It was a good workout. I liked it.
