Jan. 13th, 2005 08:16 pmSo, we were talking at work today, and we're all starting to get a little freaked out by the weird weather. This is January. In Pittsburgh, Pa. We had to keep reminding ourselves of that as we took our walk with the kids. We had the kids in their jackets, but by the time we'd gone maybe three blocks, all the teachers had taken theirs off. Cause it was in the mid to upper sixties. At around two-thirty, one of the teachers came back from her break with the announcement that it was 72 degrees outside. While it's great to not be freezing, and we even had an hour or two of blue skies and sun this morning (the first time since I cannot even begin to tell you, honestly) we are all waiting for the "Day After Tomorrow" weather to hit us. You know, unbelievably powerful hurricanes that will wipe Pittsburgh off the map. When winter finally gets around to hitting us it will probably keep us in it's icy grip until June!
Right! I must eat, then watch the Battlestar Galactica mini so that I'm ready for the new series that starts tomorrow.
