Jan. 11th, 2011 11:13 pmI've been Little Miss Crankypants a lot lately, so I'm going to try doing a daily Positives post, starting today. Maybe this will help me see the sunny side of life.
*One of the kids at work, who rarely says even a single word at a time, was so excited about the snow we got today that when his mom picked him up, he burst out "mama, there snow!" What made it a lol moment was that he was picking up some rice at the time and his mom said, "that's not snow, that's rice. Rrrrrriiiiiccccce. Rice."
*My apartment is probably about 60% decluttered and it's so wonderful to have a little more room to move around.
*We got two-three inches of fresh snow this afternoon. Walking home, a few of the houses still had exterior garlands or lights from the holidays and seen through the new snow, in the dark with a light snow still falling, it really was exceptionally beautiful and serene (even with traffic).
*Mal was very playful this evening, dragging Maggie's new toy all around. I love watching him play, especially on the rare occasions, like tonight, when he's content to entertain himself and doesn't demand that I do most of the work.
*I've been watching South Park on Netflix and for some reason, I'm really entertained by the fact that they have an actual child voicing the toddler Ike. His random insertions of 'cookie mo'ster' and 'no kick da baby' make me smile every time. I must be a sucker for toddlers or something.
