I'd really like to see some SGA people coming to Dragon*Con this fall. There's already a decent line-up of SG-1 folks: Christopher Judge, Robert Picardo (whom I've loved ever since China Beach) and Michael Shanks and Lexa Doig. It would be awesome if David Hewlett came and brought 'A Dog's Breakfast' along for a screening. Sadly, I've heard no rumors to that effect. *sigh*

In other news, Spring Break is effectively over, as of today. Back to work I am, with nice long days to make up for earlier slackerness. 9-6 today through Friday. Yippee.

But. Today is Comics day and I do believe I might just be tempted to mosey on down to PotA after work. I may even buy comics. *gasp* [livejournal.com profile] eve11, if you decide to come, I've got your House dvds for you.

In other other news, we've currently got an inch of snow with ongoing flurries and the public schools just closed. I think it's a sign of the apocalypse, public schools closing for no apparent reason.

Dunno about comics tonight. I am dead tired now, and it's only 9am.

May not have been that much snow, but it took me 1.5 hours to get in to work today. Blah for slow driving that caused me to hit the tunnel at the wrong time, and an accident on 376 East that turned that stretch into 20 minutes of stop-start. Not to mention, *nothing* around here is even salted, let alone plowed.

*sighs*

I don't get the city. We've had a very mild winter as far as snow goes, and they still can't seem to manage salting the roads. This was not a big storm, the roads should have been under control.

Sorry that you spent so much of your break in pain. Hope that is all better now and that you at least get to enjoy ONLY having to work (not having to work all day and then head off to class.)

There doesn't seem to be much difference between being at work all day, and splitting the day up between work and school. But at least I'm living something like pain free at the moment, so that's a good thing. :)

I've got my fingers seriously crossed for David Hewlett and a Dog's Breakfast. Also for Ben Browder so I can die happy :)

I am so damn sick of snow and not getting a delay at work...where is spring?!

Ah, Ben Browder. I'd love to see him at Dragon*Con.

As for 'A Dog's Breakfast', I filled out a 'request a screening' form at adogsbreakfastmovie.com (http://www.adogsbreakfastmovie.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=14&Itemid=35), but one request probably isn't going to get anywhere. Particularly since I don't really have any contact information for the con folks, other than the generic email/phone/fax info on the webpage, but it can't hurt to try.
