Merry has arrived. He is exploring my desk at the moment, and apparently it's not to his liking. He says that it's worse than Isengard after the Ents had at it. Hmmm, I think it might be time to tidy it up a bit. He's a bit lonely, as well. Eowyn is here and he's quite happy about that, but he really wants Pippin. I saw the Pipster on Amazon the other day, and I may have to buy rescue him.

I just got home from the Comics night. I'm going to have to hone up on my filthy if I want to stay in the group. Last week I filthied with the best of them, but this week, I was disgustingly daycare-ish. I did have the sense, at least, to keep my mouth shut and not speak the daycare speak, but it thoroughly prevented me from being even a little bit amusing or entertaining. Luckily, [livejournal.com profile] eve11 was in good form so at least one of the girls made a good showing, lol.

Now, off to watch Lost.

I got sucked into eBay last night and put in bids for Eowyn ($2, I kid you not!), Faramir ($6.99) and Gandalf and Pippin on Shadowfax ($5.99). I highly rec going there to do your Pippin shopping. I saw a good many Pippins in Gondorian livery for$4.99. Seriously! Go there first!

And if it weren't for that handful of lines Charlie got tonight I would have scratched off tonight's ep. Just when I thought I might like Shannon a little bit, too. (Hey, I KNEW she wasn't really dead!) But looks like more Charlie next week! Yeeha!

Love your icon. I have the picture saved on my computer and I totally agree with you on LOST. Not the best episode so far.

I love my icon, too. Makes me smile every single time I look at it. :-) Yes, I was really disappointed with last night's Lost, but the Charlie scene was very nice, I'll give them that. I do like the sort of big-brotherly relationship with Jack, and think it's a nice contrast to the one he had with Liam, the jerk.

When I did an ebay search for Merry I was frustrated by the fact that the shipping charges were nearly as expensive as the cost of the toy. It cost about four dollars to ship Merry to me, but ebay was charging seven, and the price of Merry was higher as well.

I'm going to keep my eyes open and see what I can find locally before trying to buy Pippin online, but if I have to go online, I will check out ebay -- I've never bought anything on ebay before, lol.

As for Lost, I liked this episode better than last week's ep. But it was Boone and Shannon, so there was a certain element of ho hum about it. I did really like Charlie and Jack's interaction, although they are still downplaying all of Charlie's problems far too much. Heroin withdrawal and all he needs to curb his symptoms is two aspirin? Anyway, I'll be detailing my thoughts later in another post, so I won't go into it all here.

You might want to try Target. I remember seeing Pippin in armor among the limited action figures they had recently. I think even new they're only $5.99, and sometimes you can get them even cheaper, or try KBToys - that's where I got my FroSaminOrcArmor for $2.97 apiece! Oh, I think I also saw him at Toys R Us. They are still out there. Did you get Rohirrim Merry? I have my Gondor Pippin, Rohirrim Merry and Frodo, swords drawn and ready, on the top shelf of my computer desk; standing guard behind them, swords also drawn and ready, are Boromir and Eomer. As soon as Faramir and Eowyn arrive, they will join the group on the shelf. And Shadowfax carrying Gandalf and Pippin will join Theoden, Eomer and Faramir on horseback riding across my monitor.

No, I'm not at all obsessed. Why do you ask? ;-)

Glad Merry made the trip safely. I have seen Pippin on Ebay but nowhere in any of the stores. That sneaky Took is hiding. I hope your Merry finds a Pippin soon. I am in the process of bidding on the Peter Jackson as a hobbit figure which is way too pricey, but my hobbits need direction and so I am going to go that extra buck. LOL

PJ as a hobbit action figure? That's fantastic! Good luck with the bidding. :)
