I don't think I've ever been so happy to have eve11 cancel on the gym. I was dreaming this morning that I was sleeping at work. I was too tired to get up and go home so they had to carry me. I woke up really wanting to call off so that I could stay home and sleep. At least I was able to sleep in more than usual. I don't have to be at work until 11 today.

Gah! I hate it when I'm so tired I dream about sleeping.

Oooh, he IS yummy!

I was to be Merry (my hair is strawberry blonde, but long so I have to do it up in pincurls and spray the heck out of it to make it do). In fact, I wore the vest I bought for the costume to work today. First time ever, since I didn't get to wear it in September.

As for what's left, alas, only a bit of hair left for the feet, but I think if we're planning this far in advance we need to do better than that. Also I've been looking for a good excuse to order me a hobbit pipe, just so I can walk around waving it in the air. ;-) And a tankard, we must have a tankard to carry with us.

We have enought time to plan so I say let's go for it! :-)

So if you're Merry, that means I need to make a Party costume for Pippin. :) Now I really need to start kicking it with my diet. Not only do I have to be skinny Chiana, I have to be skinny, flat-chested Pippin, lol!

Well, you will remember that Dom had to wear a fat suit for Fellowship. That's one thing I won't have to spend money on. And you'll find that Merry has grown quite a set of knockers. Dunno how I'm going to hide *those*! ;-) I have Pippin's green eyes and I'm quite short (5'1") but other than that I'm not at all Pippinish.

HOWEVER, I am exceptionally good at imbibing of alcoholic brews of all kinds. Which I hope you will join me in doing. Got to play the part, ye know. ;-)

Well, I'm not the champion beer guzzler that Pippin is (in totally unhobbity fashion, I loathe beer) but I'm sure I'll find something suitably alcoholic to imbibe with you.

I'm also about 5'1" in height and I have vaguely green eyes. And my hair is sort of somewhat pseudo chestnut in color so that might do, and it should be long enough by then to pass muster *crosses fingers* I really don't want to have to search all over creation for a wig.

But I'm certainly going to have to bind my breasts (I'm wondering how painful that will be?) Luckily, hobbits wear nice, loose clothing, so some sins can be hidden under frock coats and baggy trousers.

This is going to be so much fun!

Honey, there isn't enough binding in Middle-earth to bind *my* breasts, so I think the crowd at D*C will just have to practice a little suspension of belief. ;-)

And I, too, loathe beer, but give me some Captain Morgan Parrot Bay and I'll be a happy hobbit. A tipsy happy hobbit, but a happy one nonetheless. And I know all the good hobbity drinking songs. I daresay we can make up a few ourselves. ;-)
