Positives:

*Got a ride to work, so I didn't have to risk life and limb on ice-covered sidewalks.

*Managed, after much effort, to coax shopping list out of feeble brain. I bought all three things I had on my mental 'can't go another day without' list.

*To go along with the above, the cats have cat food, for which they would be very grateful if they weren't cats, who take such things as divine right.

*The Pens beat the Red Wings, which is always very satisfying. It's especially nice to see right now since they a top of the league team and the Pens sometimes tend to struggle against top-tier teams.

*I don't have a sore throat (I'm ignoring the runny nose, burning/watering eyes and sinus headache - lalalalalal).

*Tomorrow is Wednesday, already!

Yay Pens! Also Yay to cat food, kind strangers who offer rides up icy hills, and not having a sore throat. I hope the runny nose, etc. disappear and I can give a yay! about that too :)

I'm still waiting on the runny nose disappearing. It keeps running but never seems to get anywhere.

Talking with my boss this morning, she said she kept thinking it should be Friday already. And, hey, not quite, but it's almost Thursday at the very least.
